20th June 2013 - Meaningful Safari – Kitui Circuit. Flamingo Safaris profile and image is to offer tours that are off the normal tourist areas. Many people want to see more than just wildlife and learn about tribal cultures, visit small villages and see how daily life is in Africa. Recently Flamingo safari has added Safari/excursions to and from Kitui on top of its programs. This will enable those who are in short visit in the area. The excursions will take you close to locals and traditional dancers. Visit different institutions like, Schools – Churches – Projects.

20th September 2012 - Daniel Kikwa – the owner and leader of Flamingo Safari was invited to Norway for a familiarization tour organised by Help to Selfhelp in Africa. The Norway visit was a big boost to Flamingo Safari, and a great encouragement and inspiration. It was an opportunity to do extensive promotion, as well as maintaining and expanding the network of contacts established with many Norwegians.
23rd June 2012 - Flamingozone Tours and Safaris Ltd will celebrate its 5th Anniversary. The occasion will take place at Tokyo Restaurant in Karen District. The Conquerors will entertain the quests. It will be a happy and great day for Flamingo Safari with guests all the way from Norway. As we celebrate 5 years, Flamingo safari wishes to thank all its clients from all over the world, friends and partners for choosing Flamingo Safari as their travel /tourism company in Kenya and East Africa. 31st March 2012 - Flamingo Safari is proud to announce that today in corroboration with Help to Selfhelp in Africa is going to participate to a ceremony of handing over the Katulani Biogas, pig and water project in Kitui to the School management. This is the only project of its kind in this region, also the biggest that has been turned to be a learning centre.
5th February 2012 - New office. Flamingo Safari has moved into new office in Nairobi. This new office is situated strategically much better in relation to the airport and to Daniel’s and the staff's homes. The traffic jams are avoided and it saves time. We also have stable power supply, as we now are connected to good back up power. We are very satisfied with our new office.
25th January 2012 - 2011 was a good year for Flamingo Safari. Escalating number of clients. The progress of the company Flamingo Safari is good. This year we can celebrate our 5 years anniversary and can conclude with increasing number of guests, inquiries and annual turnover. Kenya´s tourism rose by 15.4 percent to 1.26 million in 2011. We are happy to be part of this and the result motivates us.
14th January 2012 - Flamingo Safari´s profile. Our cooperation with Help to Self Help in Africa has resulted in the concept: Meaningful Safari. The concept combines traditional Safari with more intimate cultural events and home visits. It gives a good insight into the aid and helping programs and the value of seeing the practical outcome. Our experience so far has given good and appreciated response of the trips and many of the clients have made the trip a second time.
9th January 2012 - Music is an important part of Kenyan culture. The Conquerors are a band from Kawangware in Nairobi. They are supported by Help to Selfhelp in Africa in order to establish a business and to spread their wonderful music. Flamingo Safari´s guests are being entertained by this band. The Conquerors are also guides for those who want to visit a church or to see successful aid-projects in the Kawangware slum.
22nd November 2011 - The fifth Meaningful Safari this year is already over. Meaningful Safari has been rated as one of our best programs. All together 140 Norwegian Clients have taken this trip.
