Bird safari
Safari is truly a once in a lifetime experience. Kenya has the very best safari parks in Africa – the mighty Masai Mara and the beautiful, flamingo-filled Lake Nakuru, are both very accessible from, or en-route to, Western Kenya.
A successful safari is mostly down to the amazing wildlife that you are pretty much guaranteed to see from the comfort of your safari vehicle but of course, your guide/ driver, the vehicle and your choice of accommodation all play a large part in the success and enjoyment of your safari.
Kenya is one of the best countries in Africa for bird watchers. More than 1000 species of birds can be found in Kenya. For serious birdwatchers we can recommend a specialized birding safari, within Kakamega forest and lake Victoria in Kisumu. The best time is from October to April. Flamingo Safari use experienced Safari guides who will make sure your safari is enjoyable.
